Warranty

MowPartsOz generally offers a 12-month warranty on products, unless stated otherwise. Electronics products come with a 3-month warranty. Please refer to the product listing for the warranty period.

You are required to notify MowPartsOz within 3 working days in the unlikely event that the item arrives damaged or faulty. In addition to a detailed description, you are required to provide images (or a short video clip if more appropriate) of the damage in order to proceed with the warranty process. Once assessed and approved by our customer service team, you will be contacted to proceed with the return, refund or replacement process. Please do not attempt to return the item without our approval.

To make a claim, you must provide us with a copy of your tax invoice or any kind of proof showing that you purchased the item from us. You need to also describe the problem precisely and provide evidence to support your claim, and state whether you are requesting a replacement, repair, refund or credit.

Refunds generally take up to 5 working days to process and MowPartsOz will notify you once the refund has been processed. However, please allow an additional 5 working days on top for your financial institution to process it.

A refund or replacement will not be provided if products are being misused, mishandled or mistakenly installed. Customers are responsible for following the instructions and advice given by the manufacturers. Returned items need to be in their original packaging with all tags attached where applicable.

Product warranty is NOT transferable. You agree that you will look solely to those warranty(s) provided by those manufacturers and in the first instance, contact the manufacturer for all warranty claims. However, we will do everything we can to ensure valid warranty claims are handled and expedited efficiently and effectively. Be sure to keep your tax invoice as proof of purchase.

You will then be offered an exchange, full refund or store credit. Any refunds will be transferred back to the original payment method, eg. your credit card or store credit. Promotional codes are not eligible for refund.

Please ensure you use a trackable or signed-for delivery service such as registered post, as we cannot credit your account until the item has been received. Your credit will be the original purchase price minus any shipping costs.

Shipping
We ship most items within 2 business days of receipt of your order. In special circumstances due to stock availability from the fulfilment locations, this period may be extended .


Freight
We use a large range of different post and couriers to achieve this. If the item requires a signature and the courier company needs to return there may be a charge.
We recommend using a work address if you will not be home during the day. If Australia Post or a courier service is used and no one is available to sign for the parcel, a card will be left and the parcel re-directed to the nearest Post Office or Courier depot. The customer is then responsible for collecting the parcel from that depot or paying an additional charge for re-delivery if applicable.


Returns
You can return any item, for any reason except change of mind within 7 days of receipt.

If the item you wish to return is faulty, take a few photos if possible and email us at sales@mowpartsoz.com.au You will then be offered an exchange, full refund or store credit. Any refunds will be transferred back to the original payment method, eg. your credit card or store credit. Promotional codes are not eligible for refund.

If you'd like to return an item for another reason, you will be given a store credit to the same value once the item has been received by us and any shipping costs incurred will not be refunded. Please ensure you use a trackable or signed-for delivery service such as registered post, as we cannot credit your account until the item has been received. Your credit will be the original purchase price minus any shipping costs.

You have 7 days from the receipt of your package to let us know if there are any problems or you'd like to return or exchange. Once we've okayed your return, you have 10 days to post it.

-My order arrived damaged.
First, our apologies. Take a few photos and email them through to sales@mowpartsoz.com.au so we can start the returns process for you.
-What's the best and safest way to return an item?
We recommend using bubble wrap plus any extra padding you can include if the item is fragile. A solid cardboard box or wrapping is a good idea. A good rule of thumb is packing it so it could be dropped from a 1 metre height without breaking. We can only provide you a full refund if the item arrives in a re-sellable condition, it’s worth packaging it securely before sending. We also suggest you use a trackable service too.
-How much time do I have to return an item?

I'm wanting to buy a gift for someone and have it posted to them, can you do this?
Yes we certainly can! At checkout put your address in the 'Billing Address' section and the address of your recipient in the 'Mailing Address' section.

I'm getting my parcel sent as a gift and I don't want them to know how much I've paid, can you help?
Yes, our packing slips don't have any prices on them, just the items you've ordered.
