General Instructions-
Water area prior to coring and let area soak in. Wear suitable closed shoes and eye protection when operating. Ensure the operator is competent in operating the tool. Ensure area is clear of others and pets. When using larger tine diameters use less tines, more tines with smaller diameters. Use leg to push into ground, not wrists or hands. If it’s difficult to penetrate, reduce the number of tines being used and water area more to assist. Use hands only to remove the corer in an upward direction. You shouldn’t need to rock the corer from side to side to penetrate, if so, reduce number of tines or tine diameter size. After use, clean and dry, lubricate if required to avoid corrosion. Do not use as a lever to lift soil. Never use faulty equipment. Grips and powder coating will wear as used, tines are hardened and designed for industrial mechanical machinery, using these manually in this application means they will last many years.
